We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ductwork Estimator with expertise for our client based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of ductwork packages for commercial, residential, and industrial HVAC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for RDS ductwork systems based on drawings, specifications, and site visits.
- Interpret mechanical and HVAC drawings and tender documents to extract ductwork requirements.
- Perform take-offs, material costing, and labour analysis for duct fabrication and installation.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
- Work closely with project managers and design teams to provide value engineering options.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender packages within tight deadlines.
- Track and manage revisions and changes to designs or scope of work during the tendering process.
- Attend pre- and post-tender meetings when required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a ductwork estimator.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly ductwork design and installation.
- Proficient in using estimating software such as Ensign, Trimble, or similar.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
