The predicted salary is between 21.6 - 26.4 Β£ per hour.
We are currently looking for experienced Approved Electricians to work on water utility and water treatment projects.
The successful candidates will have a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance, with previous experience working on water treatment plants, sewage treatment works, pumping stations or other water utility sites.
This role would suit electricians who are comfortable working in an industrial environment and understand the additional health, safety and site requirements associated with water utility projects.
Essential Requirements
- Approved Electrician with a valid ECS Gold Card
- Relevant Level 3 electrical qualification / recognised industry qualification
- Current BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification
- Previous experience working on water utility or water treatment sites - essential, with EUSR card
- Good understanding of electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
- Able to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience installing and terminating electrical containment, cabling and equipment
- Good understanding of safe isolation and electrical safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
- Reliable and professional approach to work

Duties & Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works across water utility sites
- Installation and termination of electrical cabling
- Installation of containment and associated electrical equipment
- Working on LV electrical systems
- Installation and connection of motors, pumps and associated equipment
- Working from electrical drawings and schematics
- Carrying out work in accordance with site RAMS and permit-to-work procedures
- Maintaining a high standard of health and safety at all times
- Working alongside other electrical, mechanical and site personnel
- Ensuring work is completed to the required quality and project standards
