About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join their team. This role will involve the commissioning, testing, and balancing of HVAC systems across various commercial and industrial projects throughout mainland UK, with occasional travel to Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out commissioning, testing, and balancing of HVAC systems, including air and water systems.
  • Ensure systems operate to design specifications and industry standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues, providing recommendations for rectification.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to support project planning and execution.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Complete commissioning reports and relevant documentation accurately and on time.
  • Provide technical support and training to on-site personnel where necessary.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HVAC commissioning, testing, and balancing.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and ventilation balancing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Willingness to travel across mainland UK and occasionally to Northern Ireland.
  • Full UK driving licence.
