We are looking to recruit a motivated and technically capable Building Services Engineer to support the design, coordination, and delivery of advanced building systems. This role involves working across various stages of construction and refurbishment projects to ensure efficient, compliant, and sustainable system solutions tailored to each site.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Contracts:

Lead the negotiation and preparation of project contracts, securing client approvals.

Commission and coordinate external contractors, evaluating their output against agreed specifications.

Technical Design & Modelling:

Produce and interpret detailed technical schematics, plans, and diagrams.

Use CAD software and BIM tools to create and refine system designs and ensure integration with other building components.

Develop tailored, site–specific mechanical or electrical solutions as required.

System Implementation & Oversight:

Manage the installation phase, ensuring systems are fitted to specification and regulatory standards.

Define maintenance protocols and operational procedures for installed systems.

Assess outdated systems and determine appropriate upgrades or replacements, considering efficiency and layout.

Budget & Sustainability:

Control costs by applying whole–life cost analysis and forecasting techniques.

Incorporate energy–efficient technologies and practices to meet environmental and budgetary goals.
