We are seeking an experienced Electrician based in the Midlands to join our growing team. The role involves working on commercial properties, with most projects located in Birmingham and surrounding areas, alongside regular nationwide travel. Candidates must be comfortable travelling and staying away from home when required. This position is mainly focused on installation work, with some fault finding and diagnostic work included.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of plant rooms, boilers, and air conditioning systems
- Working on mains electrical systems and distribution boards
- Electrical installation across commercial properties
- Conducting testing and inspection
- Carrying out fault finding where required
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard
- Maintaining positive working relationships with clients
- Completing job documentation using the company tablet system (JobLogic)
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Test & Inspection qualification
- Ability to test, inspect, and sign off electrical work
- 5-10+ years of experience in electrical installation (commercial preferred)
- Strong professionalism and ability to work well with clients
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
Working Hours
- Monday - Friday: 07:30 - 16:30 (approx.)
- The first and last 30 minutes of the day are unpaid
- Weekend work available at time and a half
