We are seeking a qualified and experienced Approved Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing electrical systems on a commercial new build to ensure safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and equipment, and determine necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with other trades and construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to health and safety policies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior electricians or apprentices as needed.
  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/license as an Approved Electrician (e.g., certified by a recognized regulatory authority or professional body).
  • Proven experience working as a qualified electrician, typically 3+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuitry, and tools.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physically fit to perform manual labor and work in various environments.
  • Gold ECS card & IPAF card.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with both residential and commercial electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
