We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our clients MoD Housing Division. Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial control, contract compliance, and the smooth delivery of housing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering projects valued up to £5 million, with excellent scope for development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all additional works across housing projects within the division
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations and measures using the NHF Schedule of Rates
- Support tendering and contract administration in line with NEC contract requirements
- Produce cost reports and manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations and final accounts
- Maintain project trackers and ensure final account targets are met, including timely billing and reporting
- Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to secure approvals and ensure smooth project delivery
About You
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to successfully pass and maintain security vetting requirements
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role (housing or construction preferred)
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and/or NHF Schedule of Rates (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail with good organisational and analytical skills
- Able to work collaboratively within a team and manage competing priorities
