An established electrical contracting business operating within the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join its growing team. This is a hands-on supervisory role involving nationwide projects, team leadership, installation work, testing, maintenance, and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support small teams of electricians and subcontractors on commercial and industrial projects.
- Carry out electrical installation work where required.
- Install, maintain, test, and inspect electrical systems.
- Conduct EICRs and complete associated remedial works.
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
- Complete reports, certificates, and documentation using digital devices.
- Submit job reports and weekly timesheets.
- Travel nationwide as required, with accommodation provided when applicable.
- Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency call-out service.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Typical working week of 48 hours.
- Emergency call-out rota approximately 1 week in every 4-6 weeks.
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection.
- SSSTS.
- Minimum 5 years' electrical industry experience.
