An established electrical contracting business operating within the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join its growing team. This is a hands-on supervisory role involving nationwide projects, team leadership, installation work, testing, maintenance, and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support small teams of electricians and subcontractors on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Carry out electrical installation work where required.
  • Install, maintain, test, and inspect electrical systems.
  • Conduct EICRs and complete associated remedial works.
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
  • Complete reports, certificates, and documentation using digital devices.
  • Submit job reports and weekly timesheets.
  • Travel nationwide as required, with accommodation provided when applicable.
  • Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency call-out service.
Working Hours
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • Typical working week of 48 hours.
  • Emergency call-out rota approximately 1 week in every 4-6 weeks.
Essential Requirements
  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
  • ECS Gold Card.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection.
  • SSSTS.
  • Minimum 5 years' electrical industry experience.
