We are currently recruiting an experienced Approved Electrician to work on a commercial project, carrying out electrical installation, containment and maintenance works. The successful candidate will have a Gold ECS Card, IPAF, SSSTS and valid MOD clearance, with proven experience working on commercial sites and delivering electrical installations to a high standard.

The role will involve the installation of metal containment, cable tray, SWA cabling and the replacement of lighting fixtures, working alongside the site team to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Install metal containment systems, including trunking, conduit and associated support systems.
• Install, assemble and secure cable tray and cable management systems.
• Pull, route, dress and install SWA cables in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
• Assist with cable glanding, termination and connection works where required and within competency.
• Remove and replace existing light fixtures and install new commercial lighting.
• Carry out electrical installation works in accordance with current regulations and site procedures.
• Work from electrical drawings, specifications and site instructions.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining quality and productivity.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, RAMS and permit-to-work requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors, other trades and site management to maintain project deadlines.
