We are seeking a skilled Electrician with proven experience in metal containment systems and cable tray installation to work on commercial and industrial projects. The role involves installing, maintaining, and supporting electrical containment infrastructure in line with current regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install cable tray, ladder rack, trunking, and conduit systems
- Measure, cut, and assemble metal containment to specification
- Install supports using Unistrut, threaded rod, and brackets
- Carry out steel conduit bending, threading, and installation
- Route and secure cables within containment systems
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
- Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
- Work at height using appropriate access equipment (IPAF)
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Valid ECS card
- Proven experience with metal containment and tray work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and neat workmanship
Desirable
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- IPAF certification
- Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects
- Basic testing and inspection knowledge
