Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (SSSTS) to support ongoing works at Hinkley Point A. This role involves supervising teams delivering the installation of large-bore pipework on nuclear reactor systems. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site operations in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site teams carrying out large-bore pipe installation
- Maintain strict adherence to site safety standards and project procedures
- Coordinate daily activities, permits, and work sequencing
- Liaise with project engineers, contractors, and site management
- Ensure quality, productivity, and compliance with nuclear site requirements
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Requirements
- Valid SSSTS
- CSCS card
- Proven experience supervising mechanical/pipework installation teams
- Strong understanding of nuclear or highly regulated industrial environments (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and site coordination skills
Security & Training
- Basic DBS (BPSS) clearance essential
- Triple Barr online training required (can be completed prior to site start)
PPE
- Standard Hi-Vis and full site-appropriate PPE required
