We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction and M&E to lead the delivery of a large-scale manufacturing process plant. This is a turnkey project requiring full lifecycle management from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of a turnkey manufacturing facility.
  • Oversee pre-construction activities, including planning, procurement strategy, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Manage and coordinate M&E installation works, ensuring compliance with specifications and programme.
  • Liaise with utility power providers to coordinate planned power shutdowns/switch-offs and ensure minimal disruption.
  • Supervise and manage sub-contractors and direct labour teams on site.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor progress, produce reports, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction and M&E environments.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering turnkey projects, ideally within manufacturing or process plant environments.
  • Strong experience working with utility providers, including coordination of power shutdowns.
  • Solid background in pre-construction planning and project mobilisation.
  • Experience managing sub-contractors and direct workforce.
  • Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent).
  • Construction-related qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering, Building Services, or similar).
  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
  • CSCS Card (Manager level).

Desirable

  • Experience in high-value industrial or manufacturing projects.
  • Knowledge of process engineering environments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
