About the Role
We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Electrician, ideally with experience in renewable technologies and ECO-funded projects, to join our growing team. This role is field-based, supporting domestic installations across the UK, with a preferred base in Wales or Peterborough.
You will be responsible for installing and commissioning various electrical systems, with a strong focus on sustainable technologies and heating solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission Electric Storage Heaters in domestic properties
- Fit Mechanical Ventilation Systems (MEV/MVHR)
- Wire and commission Boilers and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs)
- Install Solar PV systems
- Carry out testing, inspection, and certification of all works
- Submit install evidence and paperwork accurately and on time
- Perform associated electrical tasks and minor remedial works
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with renewables or ECO schemes (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and safe working practices
- Flexibility to travel and stay away when required
