Location: Lark Hill (Army Base – No SC Clearance Required)
Start Date: 14/07
Duration: 1–3 Months
Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:00
Rate of Pay: £25 per hour

We are currently seeking 2 experienced Pipefitters and 1 reliable Pipefitter’s Mate to join an active mechanical project located at an Army base in Larkhill. This is a great opportunity for qualified individuals to contribute to an important and time-sensitive contract involving heating and domestic installations.
Role Overview:
Pipefitters (x2)
As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of:
• Domestic copper pipework (press fit)
• Threaded steel pipework for heating systems
You should have strong skills in interpreting mechanical drawings, working with copper and steel materials, and installing press fit systems efficiently and safely.
Pipefitter’s Mate (x1)
As a Mate, you will support the Pipefitters with:
• General mechanical labouring tasks
• Handling materials, tools, and assisting with pipe installations
• Ensuring site cleanliness and safety practices are followed
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain more experience on mechanical sites and work closely with experienced tradespeople.
Requirements:
• Valid Blue or Gold CSCS Card (essential)
• IPAF ticket is beneficial (working at height may be required)
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures on site
• Positive attitude and reliability
