We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in fire systems to lead the delivery of installation projects across the UK. This role will see you take full responsibility for projects from initial planning through to commissioning and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with industry regulations and standards. As a key point of contact, you will work closely with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure fire system installations meet both contractual requirements and the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of fire system installation projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely completion
  • Lead project planning, including surveys, scheduling, RAMS, and resource coordination
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving issues
  • Oversee site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe working practices and adherence to fire safety regulations
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and performance to maintain profitability

About You

You will be an experienced Project Manager with proven success in delivering fire protection or fire detection system projects. You'll be confident managing multiple stakeholders, leading site teams, and ensuring strict compliance with health & safety and fire industry standards. You should have strong commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. Relevant qualifications in construction or project management are essential, along with a CSCS Manager Card. Certifications such as SMSTS, CDM, or industry-specific fire qualifications are highly desirable.

Additional Requirements

This is a mobile role requiring frequent UK travel, occasional overnight stays, and flexibility around working hours. A full UK driving licence is essential.
