We're looking for a Mechanical Improver/Pipefitter Improver for a long-term data centre refurbishment project at AWE Aldermaston.

Duties:

  • Removing lagging
  • Disconnecting and removing large bore pipework (200mm)
  • Draining down systems
  • Installing steel pipework (200mm)

Requirements:

  • CSCS Green Card (essential)
  • Relevant experience as a Mechanical Improver/Pipefitter Improver (large bore pipework preferred)
  • CV required
  • SC Clearance preferred (to avoid site escorting)
  • Local candidates preferred (no lodging provided)

Hours:

  • 07:00 - 16:30
  • 9-day fortnight

This role requires more experience than a labourer or mate.
