Robert Hurst is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established and growing building services contractor operating across Greater London. This is a mobile role, predominantly covering sites within the Inner M25. Engineers typically attend 1-2 sites per day, with 3-5 callouts depending on workload.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and inspection of AC, refrigeration & HVAC systems
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive fault finding and repairs
- Working on AHUs, chillers, split systems & fan coil units
- Small works, installations and refurbishment projects
- Liaising with building maintenance teams
- Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with general building maintenance tasks where required
Requirements
- Proven experience in service, installation, PPM & reactive maintenance
- Strong knowledge of chillers and refrigeration plant
- F-Gas 2079 (Safe Handling of Refrigerants) - essential
- Trade qualified AC / Refrigeration Engineer preferred
- Good building services knowledge (basic electrical, mechanical & plumbing understanding)
- Organised with good IT and reporting skills
- Professional, articulate and confident in customer-facing environments
