The Role
We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join our clients well-established mechanical services business. The role is largely self-managed and will involve working with Natural Gas, LPG, and Oil, primarily on commercial and industrial sites, with some domestic work for private clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding, maintenance, and repair of heating systems
- Annual servicing of commercial and domestic appliances
- Working safely and efficiently across multiple sites
- Managing workload and time effectively
- Delivering a high standard of customer service
- Participation in a 1-in-5 on-call rota
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar service engineering role
- Qualified in commercial & domestic natural gas, LPG, and oil
- Valid CSCS card
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (including child barring list)
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Physically fit and able to carry out a wide range of manual tasks
- Strong time-management and self-organisation skills

- Commercial Natural Gas: CDGA1, CORT1, CIGA1, CODNC01, ICPN1, TPCP1 / 1A
- Domestic Natural Gas: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1
- LPG: CONGL1PD
- Oil: OFTEC 101, 105E, 600a
- Plumbing / Heating: HWSS (including G3)
