About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and qualified Gas, Plumbing and Heating Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in the South Central area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical building services systems, including heating, plumbing, and gas systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain: Valves, pipework, and fittings.
- Pumps, booster sets, and pressurisation units.
- Above-ground soil and waste systems.
- Sanitaryware, brassware, and fixtures.
- Gas-fired water heaters, heating systems, and associated equipment.
- Test all pipework and systems for leaks and performance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and ensure systems are properly sized, aligned, and supported.
- Supervise and guide junior staff, ensuring safe working practices and correct task execution.
Requirements:
- Recognised NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing and Heating / Mechanical Engineering.
- Gas Safe registration.
- Proven experience in mechanical building services - installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS Card.
