We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to join a growing electrical contractor delivering commercial projects across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Electrical D&B Estimator who can take ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities- Review all tender documentation including technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out base electrical design work to support tender submissions
- Produce accurate estimates and cost plans across multiple projects
- Attend tender interviews and design meetings
- Carry out site surveys and gather relevant project information
- Set up and manage tender documentation and quotation folders
- Identify project risks and commercial opportunities
- Support successful project handovers to delivery teams with clear scope briefings
- Proven experience within Electrical Design & Build estimating
- Strong electrical technical knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight client deadlines
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based estimating processes
- Commercial sector experience preferred
- Salary dependent on experience
- Overtime available during busy periods (optional)
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Additional company benefits available
