We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to join a growing electrical contractor delivering commercial projects across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Electrical D&B Estimator who can take ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to successful handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review all tender documentation including technical drawings and specifications
  • Carry out base electrical design work to support tender submissions
  • Produce accurate estimates and cost plans across multiple projects
  • Attend tender interviews and design meetings
  • Carry out site surveys and gather relevant project information
  • Set up and manage tender documentation and quotation folders
  • Identify project risks and commercial opportunities
  • Support successful project handovers to delivery teams with clear scope briefings
Requirements
  • Proven experience within Electrical Design & Build estimating
  • Strong electrical technical knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight client deadlines
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based estimating processes
  • Commercial sector experience preferred
Package
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Overtime available during busy periods (optional)
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

We are open to both freelance and permanent candidates at this stage and are particularly interested in individuals based within West London or along the M4 corridor.
