JOB OPPORTUNITY β 2 x Laggers Needed | Scilly Isles (Off Cornwall Coast)
RHL is currently recruiting for 2 experienced Laggers for a short-term but highly rewarding project located on the stunning Isles of Scilly. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful offshore environment while earning competitive rates.
Start Date:
Monday 14th July 2025
Duration:
11 days of 12-hour shifts + 1 final day of 8 hours
(12 consecutive days of work)
Hourly Rate:
Β£25.00 per hour
Scope of Work:
You will be responsible for installing phenolic foam insulation sections and fitting stucco aluminium cladding over the insulation. Candidates must have solid experience in this type of insulation and cladding system. The work will be fast-paced and requires a high level of attention to detail and professionalism.
Qualifications / Requirements:
β’ Valid TICA Blue Card β Essential
β’ Experience with phenolic insulation and aluminium cladding
β’ Standard PPE β Hi-Vis, Safety Boots, Helmet, Gloves, Glasses
β’ Own basic hand tools β Standard metal tools suitable for lagging work
Travel & Accommodation:
β’ Return flights from Penzance Airport to the Scilly Isles will be fully paid
β’ Accommodation is provided on the island in self-contained, single-person temporary units.
These units include:
o Comfortable bed
o Washing/shower facilities
o Private space for rest between shifts
β’ Fuel allowance to travel to Penzance Airport paid at 25p per mile
Travel to the Isles is planned for Monday 14th July
Return to mainland expected Friday 25th July
