Robert Half are partnering with a leading and highly respected organisation to appoint a Payroll & Employment Tax Compliance Specialist. This role sits within the HR and People function in a key specialist role focused on governance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll and employment tax professional who enjoys working in a technical, advisory, and business-facing capacity. Overseeing duties across Finance, HR and Payroll, the role offers broad exposure as the Subject Matter Expert for all payroll compliance, employment tax, immigration processes, and legislative change management within a complex and fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity

As the in-house specialist for UK employment tax and payroll compliance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organisation remains fully compliant with evolving UK legislation and HMRC requirements. Working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external advisors, you will lead key compliance activities, strengthen governance frameworks, and provide expert guidance across the business.
