HR Advisor (12-15 Month FTC)
Robert Half HR are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a highly respected heritage brand that combines cutting-edge innovation, scientific expertise and world-class manufacturing.
This is a unique opportunity to support an ambitious growth strategy and an ongoing transformation of the People function. The business is looking for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys operating across the full employee lifecycle whilst helping to modernise processes, improve policies, support managers and deliver an exceptional employee experience.
Salary: £35,000
Location: Wilmslow, South Manchester
Working pattern: Hybrid, minimum 3 days on-site per week with flexible working hours between 7am and 7pm
Contract: 12-15 Month Fixed Term Contract with the chance to become permanent
The Role
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will act as the first point of contact for employees and managers and provide proactive HR support across the organisation.
The role offers broad exposure across a diverse workforce including operational, technical and professional teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Supporting recruitment, selection and onboarding activities
- Drafting contracts, offer letters and employment documentation
- Maintaining employee records and HR systems
- Supporting absence management and employee relations matters
- Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures
- Helping drive continuous improvement across the People function
- Supporting the organisation's journey towards a more modern, colleague-focused HR environment
The Person
The successful HR Advisor will be a confident and pragmatic HR professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing stakeholders across all levels of a business.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor or similar generalist HR position
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards it
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience supporting a range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle
- Good Excel and reporting capabilities
- Confidence working within changing and evolving environments
- Strong customer service focus and attention to detail
