The Role
- Acting as an escalation point for technical issues, troubleshooting and problem solving technical issues related to the Linux environment.
- Systems administration and support for Linux environment, including both physical & virtual services, as well as on-premise and cloud services.
- Day-to-day management and support of Linux solutions (patching etc.).
- Play a key role in ongoing projects, implementing new/replacing solutions.
About you
- Experience gained in a similar systems administration role, with experience/knowledge of Linux solutions.
- Experience/knowledge of virtualisation, Microsoft applications (e.g. MS365), desktop/server hardware, security technologies (firewalls, VPN etc.) and general networking (switches, routers etc.).
- Strong communication and team working skills, with a passion for learning new technologies.
