Robert Half are delighted to be exclusively supporting a well-established, values-led healthcare organisation in the recruitment of a Finance Manager. This part-time role (0.6 FTE) offers the opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting and business partnering while contributing to vital community services. Sitting within a collaborative finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will oversee day-to-day reporting activities, support strategic decision-making, and work closely with both operational and clinical stakeholders. Only one day per week is required in their Uxbridge office.
The Role
- Leading and developing the work of the Finance Business Partner and Management Accountant
- Delivering comprehensive budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting
- Producing detailed variance analysis and providing insight to budget holders and the Board
- Supporting and deputising for the Financial Controller where required
- Attending key internal and external stakeholder meetings, representing the finance function
- Developing costings, pricing models and financial appraisals for new services and proposals
- Ensuring statutory, compliance and tax obligations are met with support from external advisors
- Identifying opportunities for financial efficiency, improved income and enhanced reporting
- Building relationships with partners across the wider health economy
- Supporting year-end processes, including reconciliations and analysis
- Contributing to continuous improvement across financial processes and controls
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong post-qualification experience
- Skilled across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and presenting financial information clearly
- Experienced working in a multi-disciplinary finance team
- Highly organised, proactive and adaptable, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong in Excel and confident using modern accounting systems (QuickBooks experience desirable)
- Experience in healthcare or the NHS is advantageous but not essential
