Job Type: Remote with occasional travel (UK based)

Pay: £500 per day inside IR35

The Opportunity

Robert Half has partnered with a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company specialising in the development, manufacture, and marketing of high-quality products and are seeking a Transformation Change Manager. This role is critical in driving and managing change initiatives across the organisation.

Reporting to the Transformation Programme Manager, the Transformation Change Manager is responsible for ensuring successful adoption and embedding of new ways of working. The role focuses on processes, technologies, people, and information while supporting the delivery of strategic transformation programmes, aligning change with business goals, and minimising disruption across the organisation.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing?

This role has a broad and dynamic remit, and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

Change Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement change management strategies that maximise employee adoption and usage while minimising resistance.
  • Work closely with programme leads to integrate change management activities into overall transformation plans.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to understand organisational implications of changes to processes, systems, and structures.

Process Transformation

  • Collaborate with process owners to ensure changes are clearly documented, communicated, and embedded.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement activities post-implementation to optimise performance.

Technology Enablement

  • Partner with IT and digital teams to ensure successful rollout and adoption of new systems and tools.
  • Create change plans that support digital transformation initiatives, including training, user support, and engagement.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to user adoption and digital capability gaps.

People & Culture

  • Identify change champions and stakeholders; build coalitions to support transformation.
  • Develop communication and engagement strategies to build awareness, understanding, and commitment across all levels.
  • Coordinate and deliver training, coaching, and leadership support to build change capability within the business.

Information & Data

  • Support changes in data governance, access, and utilisation across the organisation.
  • Ensure stakeholders understand how to use new information systems and reports effectively.
  • Align data and reporting structures with new business processes and technologies.

The Candidate

  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, Kotter).
  • Experience managing change in complex, matrixed environments.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to assess change impact and adoption metrics.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, transformation, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end change within large-scale transformation programmes.

Desirable

  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or digital transformation programmes.
  • Background in organisational development or business analysis.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Certification in change management (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP).
