Job Description
Robert Half has partnered with a leading technology business to recruit for a Sustainability Analyst.
This is an exciting 18-month fixed-term contract offering the opportunity to drive real impact across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, helping the business deliver its Net Zero Transition Plan and strengthen its sustainability performance.
The Role
Based in Portsmouth (minimum 3 days per week onsite), this practical, hands-on position will:
- Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's environmental sustainability strategy.
- Support progress towards Net Zero and drive ESG and CSR initiatives.
- Prepare sustainability disclosures and regulatory submissions, including SECR, ESOS, and TCFD reporting.
- Engage with internal teams and suppliers to promote sustainable, ethical, and responsible business practices.
- Oversee waste reduction, recycling, and energy efficiency projects.
- Monitor sustainability trends and ensure compliance with ISO standards, UN goals, and Science-Based Targets.
About You
- Proven experience in sustainability or environmental management roles.
- Essential: Strong knowledge of ISO 14001
- Experience engaging with EcoVadis is highly desirable.
- Skilled in TCFD, SBTs, and sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and pragmatic approach to driving sustainability improvements.
