You’ll join a specialist Early Careers team responsible for attracting, selecting, and supporting the next generation of talent. Key Details:

  • Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + London allowance
  • Location: Initial 6-month training period in London, followed by a permanent full-time role based in Newcastle upon Tyne

Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end graduate and internship lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for candidates, universities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in delivering campus events including careers fairs, insight sessions, and virtual presentations.
  • Coordinate university engagement activity, including logistics, travel, materials, and briefing internal representatives.
  • Maintain engaging Early Careers content across social media and job boards.
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessment centres, and online testing schedules.
  • Prepare assessor materials, collate feedback, and maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system.
  • Support offer management and pre-employment onboarding administration.
  • Assist in the day-to-day delivery of internship and graduate programmes, including onboarding and rotation coordination.
  • Act as a key point of contact for interns and graduates, providing support and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to support continuous programme improvement.
  • Maintain reporting tools, trackers, and process documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong A Levels and a minimum 2:1 degree.
  • Excellent communication skills – confident, clear, and professional.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Naturally people-focused with strong emotional intelligence.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
  • Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information.
