We're supporting a global consulting firm seeking an experienced Snowflake Test Lead to support a critical data transformation programme. The successful candidate will be a hands-on testing specialist with strong Snowflake and DBT experience, helping the client navigate a key delivery phase and remove testing bottlenecks across the programme.
Contract Details:
- £400 per day PAYE + 12.07% holiday pay
- London Hybrid
- Immediate start preferred as: 2-month contract with strong potential for extension
Key Experience Required:
- Strong Snowflake testing experience
- Strong DBT experience
- Hands-on testing and test execution background
- Experience testing data migration and data warehouse solutions
- Data validation, reconciliation and data quality testing
- ETL / ELT testing experience
- Test planning, test execution and defect management
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Financial Services or Insurance or Reinsurance sector experience
- Experience testing large-scale data transformation programmes
- Exposure to Azure data platforms
- Experience with automation testing tools
Responsibilities:
- Lead testing activities across a Snowflake data programme
- Execute hands-on testing and support defect resolution
- Validate data transformations and DBT models
- Perform data quality, reconciliation and regression testing
- Work closely with developers, data engineers and business stakeholders
- Identify and help resolve programme delivery bottlenecks
- Provide testing leadership and best practice guidance
- Ensure successful delivery against critical project deadlines
The Test Lead will need to have proven experience delivering Snowflake testing engagements, strong DBT knowledge, and the ability to work in a hands-on capacity within fast-paced consulting and enterprise environments. Immediate availability or a short notice period is highly desirable.
