Job Description Robert Half is partnering with a successful and growing international business to recruit a qualified FP&A Accountant into its expanding finance function. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in shaping how the business understands and manages its financial performance. Owning the annual budgeting process and supporting ongoing financial planning. Analysing P&L performance, investigating variances and challenging stakeholders where required. Identifying trends, risks and opportunities and recommending appropriate corrective actions. Monitoring capital expenditure and supporting investment decisions and business cases. Producing high-quality management reporting and ensuring consistent, accurate financial information across the business. Developing reporting packs and improving the quality and accessibility of financial insight. We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong experience across FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering. 5+ years' experience in FP&A or a commercially focused finance role. ~ Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience. ~ The confidence to challenge senior stakeholders and explain financial information to non-finance teams. ~ Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability. ~ Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems. ~ You'll have genuine ownership of the budgeting and forecasting cycle, regular interaction with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence decisions across the commercial and operational sides of the business. You'll also have the opportunity to shape reporting processes and help establish a stronger, more consistent approach to financial insight across the organisation.
