Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a well-known client in their search for a permanent Finance Assistant offering up to £45k and hybrid working!

Supporting the Finance Business Partner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial and operational delivery of client contracts. You'll be responsible for managing financial transactions, supporting reporting processes, maintaining financial systems, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures. This is a varied position offering exposure to multiple aspects of contract and financial administration within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

  • Salary: £40k - £45k
  • Working pattern: Full-time, hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Responsibilities:
  • Raising customer invoices and credit notes for approval and processing.
  • Creating vendor purchase orders and supporting the approval process.
  • Coordinating intercompany agreements and transactions.
  • Processing financial transactions within client systems.
  • Assisting with cost allocations in line with contractual requirements.
  • Supporting the preparation of financial and contract-related reporting.
  • Setting up new clients, projects, suppliers, and prospects within internal systems.
  • Supporting period-end activities and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assisting with cost allocation processes as directed by finance leadership.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial governance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified or actively studying towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
  • A basic understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
