b Overview /b p Senior Mac Engineer for a leading financial services organisation. You will own the Apple endpoint environment, driving secure, compliant macOS management and optimisation. You work closely with IT to ensure smooth onboarding, lifecycle management, and risk reduction across the Mac estate. You’ll leverage Intune, Apple Business Manager, and Entra/365 to enable secure access and automation. This role offers broad impact across security, compliance, and user experience in a hybrid London-based setting. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage the Mac estate end-to-end: configuration, patching, policy enforcement and readiness for users /li li Operate Microsoft Intune as the primary endpoint management platform: enrolment, configuration profiles, app deployment, compliance and policy management /li li Coordinate with Apple Business Manager for Automated Device Enrolment and zero-touch provisioning /li li Oversee Mac hardware lifecycle: deployment, maintenance, replacement, recovery and secure decommissioning /li li Manage endpoint access with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365: authentication, SSO, MFA and access controls /li li Develop and maintain Conditional Access and device compliance controls /li li Act as technical point of contact for Mac incidents and requests, with effective resolution /li li Collaborate with wider IT to improve onboarding, leavers and hardware changes /li li Support IT service desk by identifying root causes and reducing repeat tickets /li li Maintain accurate technical records of devices, apps, configurations and assets /li li Produce and maintain technical documentation, procedures and runbooks /li li Contribute to security and compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001 evidence requirements /li li Identify opportunities for automation and AI to streamline endpoint operations /li li Work autonomously, proposing improvements while maintaining stability /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Substantial hands-on experience supporting and administering macOS in a business environment /li li Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Intune with Mac enrolment, configuration, app management, patching and compliance /li li Experience with Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrolment/zero-touch provisioning /li li Understanding of the Apple endpoint lifecycle: deployment, troubleshooting, security and retirement /li li Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365: authentication, identity, licensing and access management /li li Experience with Conditional Access, MFA, SSO and endpoint compliance policies /li li Strong understanding of endpoint security and identity/access management in a corporate setting /li li Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex Mac and endpoint issues methodically /li li Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow) /li li Understanding of IT operational processes: onboarding, offboarding, asset management and service management /li li Familiarity with security-conscious or regulated environments (beneficial) /li li Exposure to ISO 27001, IT security controls, audits or security assessments (beneficial) /li li Strong written and verbal communication, ability to support senior stakeholders and non-technical users /li li Highly organized, proactive and capable of working independently /li li Interest in automation, scripting and AI-driven IT operations (beneficial) /li li Previous contract, interim or scale-up experience (beneficial) /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li highly organized /li li proactive /li li macOS administration in a business environment /li li Microsoft Intune for Mac (enrolment, config profiles, app deployment, patching, compliance) /li li Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrolment /li /ul
