Robert Half is partnering with a well-established, nationwide organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner - Operations on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact role, acting as the finance lead for Operations, supporting the development and delivery of short, medium and long-term strategic plans across a large operational cost base spanning multiple depot sites and head office cost centres.
The Role
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to Operations
- Lead forecasting, budgeting and business planning activity across the operational cost base
- Deliver insightful analysis of financial results and performance drivers
- Support operational decision-making, cost management and efficiency initiatives
- Prepare and review investment appraisals and business cases
- Balance operational support with wider FP&A and finance function requirements
Your Profile
- Proven experience business partnering Operations, ideally in logistics, distribution or retail
- Strong ability to communicate financial performance to non-finance stakeholders
- Significant experience in forecasting, budgeting and planning
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
- Confident, collaborative and outcomes-focused
The Package
