Join a respected Top 30 practice as a ACA/ACCA Qualified Financial Accountant within their Business Services division. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and reporting services to a portfolio of financial services clients, with a strong emphasis on technical financial reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS.
The Role
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, producing accurate statutory accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Prepare detailed group consolidations and support clients through the year-end audit process.
- Research and draft responses to technical accounting queries, supporting senior team members on complex matters.
- Liaise directly with clients to resolve technical queries, provide updates, and ensure smooth delivery.
- Supervise, review, and mentor junior team members, offering feedback and development support.
- Contribute to client proposals, pitches, and the growth of the team's financial reporting offering.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through regular learning and professional development.
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified with experience preparing statutory accounts.
- Sound understanding of UK GAAP (FRS102) and exposure to IFRS (desirable).
- Prior experience within practice.
- Excellent communicator with strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Personable, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
