Robert Half is recruiting for a Project Manager with experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA for an aviation client on a 3-4 month contract. This role is outside IR35.
About the Role
Robert Half have partnered with a large international organisation and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a SAP S/4HANA implementation. This is a pivotal role within our Project Management Office (PMO), requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills, a sharp focus on documentation, and a proven track record of successful SAP project delivery. The transition to SAP S/4HANA will be delivered by a specialist external implementation partner, who will serve as a key stakeholder throughout the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing this relationship, ensuring effective collaboration, clear communication, and delivery against agreed milestones and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project
- Manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business cases, plans, and status reports
- Ensure the project remains on time, within scope, and on budget
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and report on progress to the Head of Projects
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, and third-party vendors
- Facilitate project governance, reporting, and decision-making at all levels
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
- Background working in global or international organisations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience managing third-party vendors
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality project documentation and develop business cases
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive project success
- Willingness and availability to work onsite in Surrey 4 days per week
