Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm, in their search for an Oracle Fusion Trainer to become an associate and lead the delivery of targeted end-user training across a major Oracle Fusion transformation programme within a leading Higher Education institution. This mission-critical programme, valued at approximately £10–20M, is delivering a full operational transformation with go-live set within an aggressive 13-week timeline.

Contract Assignment Details:

  • Location: London (Hybrid Working – 1–2 days per week onsite)
  • Duration: Initial 6 months (with a key focus on end-user readiness for the 13-week cutover and go-live phase)
  • Day Rate: c.£600–£650 p/day via Ltd Company

Role Overview:

The Oracle Fusion Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive training programme to ensure end-user adoption and readiness across Finance, Procurement, HR, and other functional areas. Working across all business units, the Trainer will build content, deliver sessions, and work with the Change and Transformation leads to embed knowledge and capability throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Strategy: Design and execute an Oracle Fusion training strategy aligned with business needs and go-live timelines.
  • Content Development: Create role-based training materials, user guides, and quick reference materials tailored to the Higher Education environment.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions across core Oracle Fusion modules.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders, change managers, and subject matter experts to ensure training is accurate, relevant, and timely.
  • Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback from sessions, refine materials, and adjust delivery to improve user comprehension and confidence.
  • Hypercare Support: Provide floor-walking and on-the-ground support during and after go-live to reinforce training and ensure smooth adoption.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering Oracle Fusion (or other Tier 1 ERP) end-user training within complex transformation programmes.
  • Prior experience training users in Higher Education, Financial Services, or large-scale public sector environments.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify technical processes for non-technical audiences.
  • High resilience and ability to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.

Important Note: As part of the onboarding process, associates will undergo comprehensive financial and criminal background checks which can take 1–2 working days.
