Job Description Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a well-established Bristol-based charity to appoint a Director of Finance & Operations, covering maternity leave. \n You'll sit on the Senior Management Team, act as strategic lead for finance, operations and grant-making, and report directly to the CEO being equally comfortable in the Boardroom and close to operational detail. \n Location: Bristol - hybrid 2 days onsite. \Chief Executive Officer \n Duration : 12 month FTC \n Direct reports: Financial Controller, Head of Grants, Head of Operations \n What You'll Do: \n \n Own budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and month-end close, reporting into the Finance & Grants and Audit Committees. \n Lead risk, governance and policy - including company secretary duties and Board/committee papers. \n Act as HR lead, overseeing payroll, pay and staff wellbeing. \n Manage investment portfolios and a portfolio of let properties, including rent reviews and lease renewals. \n Run the year-end audit and SORP-compliant statutory accounts. \n Oversee IT and operational projects, and line-manage a Financial Controller, Head of Operations and Head of Grants. \n Confident presenting to Trustees and Boards, and translating finance for non-finance audiences. \n Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
