Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a permanent Assistant Management Accountant to join a large organisation based in Newport. They offer very flexible working.
To provide financial support across multiple business areas. This role involves delivering accurate management information, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial controls.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial support across diverse business areas, including asset management, health & safety, sustainability initiatives, regulatory strategy, and business operations.
- Manage financial activities for multiple cost centers and business categories.
- Perform month-end processes, including posting journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Produce monthly and ad-hoc management reports using SAP and other systems.
- Produce the monthly management information for all the above business areas and work with the business to build understanding and create monthly forecasts.
- Oversee fixed asset transfers and allocations for capital expenditure categories.
- Provide management accounting support for chargeable and non-chargeable projects.
- Complete regulatory reporting requirements for relevant business areas.
- Strong experience in accruals and prepayments.
- Either AAT qualified or relevant degree.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
On offer: Salary to £36,000 plus a generous pension and package and flexible, hybrid working.
