Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a high growth, private equity backed business based on the outskirts of York.

The Role:

As Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and partnering with operational teams to improve financial understanding and control. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear and supported pathway to step up into a Finance Manager role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Business partnering with operational teams to support performance
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Supporting year-end processes and audit preparation
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency

About You:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

  • Experience in a manufacturing or SME environment is desirable
