Senior Management Accountant in Merthyr Tydfil

Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis for a manufacturing business based near Merthyr Tydfil

The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparation of annual standard costs and reconciliation to budget
• Maintenance and creation of all standard costs
• Preparation of costing quotes for intercompany and external customers
• Inventory control – valuation, excess and obsolete reserves, annual stock count
• Month end and year end close – sales, material costs and inventory
• Analysis and reporting of sales and material price variances
• Reconciliation and control of related balance sheet accounts
• Weekly P&L forecasts
• Preparation of sales and cost of sales forecasts
• Annual budgeting activities
• Intercompany
