We are working exclusively with a growing and well-regarded construction business to appoint a Junior Estimator as part of their expanding commercial function. This role is ideally suited to someone with 2-3 years' industry experience who is looking to build a long-term career in estimating, with clear progression into a more senior position over time.
The Opportunity:
- You will join an experienced pre-construction team and gain hands-on exposure to the full tendering process, supporting the delivery of accurate and commercially competitive bids across a diverse project portfolio.
- Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and analyse quotations.
- Maintaining cost data and assisting with pricing benchmarks.
- Working closely with senior estimators on live tenders.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years' experience in construction (estimating, commercial, or quantity surveying background).
- Comfortable working with Excel; exposure to estimating software is advantageous.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience). Clear progression into Estimator and Senior Estimator roles. Exposure to a variety of projects and sectors.
