We are recruiting a Temporary Lettings Assistant to support a busy lettings team based in Manchester City Centre. This role will focus on managing enquiries for new homes to let, primarily within a Build to Rent portfolio.
The position requires someone who can confidently manage the lettings workflow from initial enquiry through to the referencing stage, ensuring all processes are followed accurately and efficiently. This is an immediate start role and would suit someone with previous lettings agency experience, although candidates with a strong administrative background and the ability to follow structured workflows will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Managing inbound enquiries received via property portals
- Processing enquiries for new homes to let within a Build to Rent environment
- Coordinating and progressing applicants through all stages of the lettings process
- Managing the end-to-end lettings workflow up to and including the referencing stage
- Ensuring all required documentation and compliance steps are completed accurately
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth progression of applications
- Supporting the team in clearing a backlog of lettings administration
- Previous experience within a lettings agency is highly desirable
- Alternatively, a strong administrative background with the ability to follow detailed workflows
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident handling multiple enquiries and tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
