We are working exclusively with a growing and well-regarded construction business to appoint a Junior Estimator as part of their expanding commercial function. This role is ideally suited to someone with 2-3 years' industry experience who is looking to build a long-term career in estimating, with clear progression into a more senior position over time.
The Opportunity: You will join an experienced pre-construction team and gain hands-on exposure to the full tendering process, supporting the delivery of accurate and commercially competitive bids across a diverse project portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Producing quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and analyse quotations
- Supporting bid strategy and value engineering exercises
- Maintaining cost data and assisting with pricing benchmarks
- Working closely with senior estimators on live tenders
About You:
- 2-3 years' experience in construction (estimating, commercial, or quantity surveying background)

- Good numerical and analytical ability with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with Excel; exposure to estimating software is advantageous
