Permanent Management Accountant

Location: Newport

Contract: Full-time

We\’re looking for a proactive Management Accountant to provide financial support, analysis, and business partnering. You\’ll work closely with operational managers, delivering management accounts and insightful MI and helping them understand their financial position to achieve objectives successfully.

What you\’ll do:

  • Production of the monthly Management Accounts.
  • Partner with managers, attending monthly meetings and providing clear financial insights.
  • Deliver key financial processes: budgeting, forecasting, month-end, and regulatory reporting.
  • Prepare detailed MI reports, variance analysis, and commentaries.
  • Support project delivery within approved budgets and contribute to reforecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with PMO and other teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
  • What we\’re looking for:

  • Strong management accounting experience and financial systems knowledge (SAP preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Ideally part-qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
  • Full UK driving licence (travel required).
  • On offer:

    Salary to £49,000 plus a generous pension and package and flexible, hybrid working
