Restructuring Manager (Pre-Claims)

The role:
- Lead and manage insured transactions under stress or pre-claim, including those involving sanctions or imminent defaults.
- Advise on the implications for insured transactions and helping to shape strategy.
- Coordinate with legal and financial advisors as necessary to protect client and policyholder interests.
- Provide support to clients facing distressed obligors including debt restructurings or payment moratorium.
- Participate in management initiatives such as underwriting market security assessments and internal peer reviews.
- Build trusted relationships with key clients, prospective clients, claims specialists, loss adjusters and underwriters.
- Support relationship managers and brokers in pre-bind and post-bind stages, particularly for complex transactions.
- Contribute to client education and engagement around restructuring and claims processes and best practices.
- Represent the company and industry at conferences and public forums, lobbying for improvements and awareness in insurance class.
- Utilise claims data and internal expertise to strengthen market presence and demonstrate thought leadership.
- In close collaboration with the Head of Claims and Legal department, manage and execute complex claim restructurings and workout scenarios with professionalism and precision.
Requirements
