The role:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of B2B commercial contracts, including client service agreements, consultant terms, NDAs, supplier contracts, referral agreements, engagement letters and terms of business.
- Support interim, finance, and funding-related contracts, working closely with finance and leadership teams.
- Identify and manage contractual risk while balancing commercial objectives.
- Advise on employment law matters across the employee lifecycle, including contracts, policies, disciplinary processes, grievances, and exits.
- Support business leaders with pragmatic, compliant employment advice.
- Liaise with external employment counsel where specialist input is required.
- Support property-related matters including leases, licences, acquisitions, disposals, and general conveyancing issues.
- Work with external solicitors on property transactions, managing scope, timelines, and costs.
- Manage the day-to-day corporate matters for all companies across the group.
- Support acquisitions, investments, and M&A activity, including heads of terms, due diligence coordination, transaction documents, and completion mechanics.
- Act as a legal project manager for transactions, ensuring momentum and clarity for non-legal stakeholders.
- Provide general legal risk management advice across the organisation.
- Support corporate governance requirements, including board materials, resolutions, and statutory filings where required.
- Develop and maintain fit-for-purpose legal templates and playbooks.
Requirements:
- England & Wales qualified solicitor.
- Broad experience covering commercial, employment, corporate duties.
