Robert Half Technology are assisting a global market leading e-commerce organisation to recruit a Mobile Engineer on a 6 months contract basis. Hybrid working - London based.
The Mobile Engineer will build and scale mobile features that support international users and align closely with web and backend systems.
RoleThe Mobile Engineer will be responsible for:
- Building mobile features for live interactions and purchasing flows
- Supporting localisation including language, currency, and regional UX
- Ensuring parity between mobile and web experiences
- Integrating with backend systems via GraphQL
- Optimising performance and reliability in real-time environments
- Develop and maintain mobile features across iOS and Android
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams
- Improve app performance and stability
- Contribute to consistent cross-platform user experiences
The Mobile Engineer will have:
- Strong experience with iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin)
- Experience integrating with GraphQL APIs
- Experience building user experiences tied to transactions, pricing, or eCommerce flows is strongly preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments
