Robert Half Technology are assisting a global Pharmaceutical organisation to recruit a Junior Data Engineer on a 6 month contract basis - Hybrid Working (1 day per week onsite) - London based.
The Junior Data Engineer will play a key role in turning data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making, and helping bridge the gap between technical teams and the wider business.
The Junior Data Engineer will:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Extract, manipulate, and analyse data using SQL and Python.
- Support data validation, testing, and deployment processes across different environments (Development, Test, and Production).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting processes.
The Junior Data Engineer will have:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or similar).
- 0-2 years' experience in a Data Engineer role (including internships or placements).
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data querying.
- Basic to intermediate Python skills for data analysis.
- A clear understanding of data lifecycle environments.
Start ASAP. 6 Month contract. Hybrid working - 1 day per week onsite in London.
The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
