Robert Half International is supporting a global consulting organisation in response to increasing demand across financial services for engineers who can remediate OS-level vulnerabilities across complex infrastructure environments. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on patching, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation across enterprise Windows and Linux estates.
Assignment Details:
- Initial 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
- Start Date: ASAP (fast-track onboarding)
- Location: London / Hybrid (on-site preferred, flexibility available)
- Daily Rate: Competitive day rate via PAYE
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage patching across Windows Server and Linux environments
- Remediate infrastructure and OS-level vulnerabilities
- Support testing and validation in complex, regulated environments
- Work closely with security and platform teams
- Support high availability environments, including rollback strategies
- Drive system hardening and resilience initiatives
Required Experience:
- Strong infrastructure / system administration background
- Proven experience in enterprise patching and vulnerability remediation
- Experience across Windows and/or Linux platforms
- Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, Ansible, Puppet or similar
- Experience in regulated / enterprise environments
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to OS-level or kernel-related vulnerabilities
- Financial services experience
- Experience across complex multi-platform estates
